England’s first pool match at Rugby World Cup 2019 will be against Tonga at the Sapporo Dome on Sunday 22nd September.
England have only faced Tonga twice before; during the pool stages of the 1999 and 2007 editions of the tournament. England won those matches 101-10 and 36-20 respectively.
Tonga begin all their matches with the Sipi Tau, which is their pre-game challenge.
